The Sacred Heart Diet*

PURPOSE: Cleansing and weight loss

This 7-day eating plan can be used as often as you like. It is reported that, if followed correctly, it will clean your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well-being you never thought possible. After seven days of this process you may expect to feet lighter and have an abundance of energy. Continue this plan for as long as you wish, (although it is probably better to use it every other week and modify your regular eating habits on the week you are not on this plan.)

FIRST DAY: Your first day will consist of all the fruits you want, except bananas. For those who like melon, two fruits that are lower in calories than most other fruits are watermelon and cantaloupe. Should you eat the melon, your chances of losing 3 pounds the first day are great.

DAY 2: All vegetables. Eat until you are stuffed with all fresh or raw vegetables of your choice. Eat green, leafy vegetables. Stay away from dry beans, peas and corn (these are seeds, not vegetables). You may also have a large baked potato with butter on your all-vegetable day.

DAY 3: Fruits and vegetables. same as Day 1 and Day 2, except NO potato.

DAY 4: Eat fresh or canned tuna fish** and drink as much as 8 glasses clean water (distilled - or - reverse-osmosis and carbon filtered) along with T-J Soup (see recipe below). You may have fresh or soaked figs (soak in distilled - or - reverse-osmosis and carbon filtered water). They  will lesson a craving for sweets.

DAY 5. Chicken breast** and vegetables. You can have 10 to 20 ounces of chicken and 6 tomatoes on this day. Drink at least 8 - 8 oz. glasses of clean water (distilled - or - reverse-osmosis and carbon filtered).

DAY 6: Fish and vegetables. Eat to your heart's content with fish and vegetables. NO POTATO!

DAY 7: Brown rice, fruit juice (un-sweetened). and vegetables. Again, stuff, stuff, stuff!!

(**If you are a vegetarian, substitute soy or other bean products.)

 Dr. Golob's 7-day Carrot Salad

PURPOSE: This is an effective liver flush, and benefits all parts of the body. Eat with (or as) the evening meal for seven straight days each month.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Carrots
  • Olive oil (cold pressed, virgin)
  • Lemon juice (from a real, fresh lemon)

Dr. Golob's 7-Day Carrot Salad
1 Cup finely shredded carrots
1 Tablespoon Olive oil
1 Tablespoon fresh Lemon juice
Mix together and serve
(May add raisins, rice, apples, etc.)

Green Drink

PURPOSE: An economical way to add vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals and enzymes to your body. Since it is in liquid form it is very readily absorbed into the blood stream. It aids with digestion and normalization of bacterial flora in the intestine. One glass per day for 30 days should cause you to notice an overall improvement in your health.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Apple juice, pineapple juice or clean, chemical-free water
  • any green and fresh (uncooked) vegetables.

Pour two cups of apple juice, pineapple juice or clean water (distilled or reverse-osmosis and carbon filtered) into a Vita-Mixer (or, blender, if you don't have a Vita-Mixer). To this add one to two cups of any green and fresh (uncooked) vegetables.

Suggestions: carrot tops, parsley, broccoli, celery, lettuce (not iceberg) comfrey leaves, mint leaves, dandelion greens, zucchini-peel and all

Start Vita-Mixer or blender and run long enough on high speed to liquify the vegetables. (5-10 seconds in Vita-Mixer, 2-5 minutes in a blender.)

Strain and drink the liquid.

Summer Salad

  • 1.5 lbs of zucchini, cut in quarters
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese
  • 1 small bunch of fresh mint, chopped
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dynamite Elixer
  • Black pepper, freshly ground
Preperation:
Cook the zucchini in boiling Dynamite NTM salted water until just tender, about 7-8 minutes; it's better to undercook than overcook it.

Drain in a colander and run under cold water to stop the cooking process. Let the zucchini cool a little, then transfer it to a shallow serving dish.

Crumble the feta over the top, sprinkle with the mint, and drizzle with the olive oil and vinegar. Add freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled. Makes 4 servings. Prep time: 10-15 minutes.
